Bullard PD takes storage building burglary suspects into custody

The Bullard Police Department arrested two people after catching a burglary in action at Bullard Self Storage, located at 390 Highway 69, on Saturday, October 22.

According to a police report obtained by Bullard Banner News, BPD police officer James Bishop was able to spot four suspects attempting to burglarize one of the units at the storage building.

Relating the incident, BPD Captain Jeff Bragg said, “We have had a number of burglaries at this location in the past couple of months. The facility’s management and BPD have been trying to keep an eye on it as much as possible. Apparently, there were a number of individuals there that didn’t seem to belong at the facility. We received the call and Officer Bishop responded to the scene, when he saw them trying to break into one of the units.”
